2 CMS buses collide in east Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV)- Two Charlotte-Mecklenburg school buses wrecked in east Charlotte while taking children home from school Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened on Somerdale Lane near Shamrock Drive just before 4 p.m.
One bus, from Crown Point Elementary, had 12 students on board. The other, from Eastway Middle School, had 13 students on board, CMS told WBTV.
No injuries were reported to any students or either driver, MEDIC said.
There is no word yet what may have caused the accident.
